Partners
Our work is sacred and is done in ceremony. We hold our work close and deeply value the relationships we make on our path. We are very intentional with who we partner with in this work.
We don’t accept any governmental funding of any kind and we only partner with native led organizations and our larger native community. It is the building and restoring of these relationships that we focus on with our partnerships. For many of our communities, we work to restore many of the same relationships and connections. This shared understanding is something we deeply value and honor.
We are so thankful for our partners who support us in our work and we look forward to building deeper relationships going forward.

The Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples is an Indigenous-led non-profit organization with a purpose dedicated to Indigenous Peoples’ self-determination and the sovereignty of Native nations. They offer an integrated program of advocacy, grants, training and technical assistance, and fiscal management lending to support and extensive expertise to Indigenous grassroots communities.
Seventh Generation Fund has supported us since we first began our fight to protect our regions most sacred site, to the beginning of our Uajkapakaltlamachtiloyaj (school of ancestral knowledge), the return of temaskali (sweat) back to our communities and so much more. We hold our relationships with everyone at Seventh Generation Fund dear and we are so grateful for their continued support and guidance they provide.

The Center for Indigenous Rights Flor y Canto A. C. is a Oaxacan civil organization non-profit which promotes the cultural identity, autonomy and self-management capacity of indigenous peoples. It was constituted in October 1995, as a result of an eight-year process of “Encounters and Dialogues” between the different indigenous peoples of Oaxaca.
Flor y Canto AC supports our work by providing important legal advice and guidance to our community in our sacred site protection fight. Their support since the beginning of this work is deeply appreciated and we look forward to building together as the work continues.
